The LIVERight Gala is a celebration of hope for Canadians affected by liver disease. The goal of the event is to raise much-needed funds for essential liver research and education. Medical researchers, community influencers and professionals will come together to support our local community of people living with liver disease, while raising funds to support the health of all Canadians. The night will include live entertainment, a silent auction, amazing food and dancing!
Come bid on our many fabulous auction packages, laugh and be inspired by the ever-entertaining Mark Hatfield, meet the incredible healthcare professionals, donors and volunteers who have played a key role in liver health advancements in our community and be ready to dance the night away with music by DJ Law, Bryan Boswell!
Living with Liver Disease Program - Diet and Nutrition All Regions / Ontario / Canada
A forum for liver disease patients and families to connect with each other in person, to learn about their disease and learn how to cope. The program consists of sessions covering topics ranging from nutrition and exercise to treatments and transplantation. Guest speakers include liver specialists, social workers, nutritionists, and other health care professionals*. All sessions have a peer support and sharing session component to them.*Please note that our program speakers are unable to provide specific advice on a participant’s personal health concerns.
When: First Monday of each month identified below from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Location: Heron Road Community Centre, 1480 Heron Rd, Ottawa, ON
Cost: Free! There is no charge to attend this program.

Ottawa Little Theater presents an afternoon of fine comedic theatrical entertainment. For this date, tickets are only sold through Eventbrite or at the door, the day of the event.
This play is in support of the Ottawa Network for Education, Cornerstone Housing for Women, Canadian Liver Foundation and Ability First Ottawa.
Doors open at 2 PM and the play starts at 2:30 PM.
This event is being hosted through the charitable generosity of the Ottawa Little Theater .
Parking is behind the building, as well as along side streets.

Dreamers Walk For Cerebral Palsy All Regions / Ontario / Canada
The Dreamers Walk for Cerebral Palsy is a vision of David Humphries. The Walk aims to raise awareness about Cerebral Palsy while also raising funds for research and assistance. It is open to all to participate in-to those with cerebral palsy, to those supporting them, to those who wish to know more, and to those who just enjoy attending a great event for a worthwhile cause.
David is the host of the tv show Living With A Disability. He has been leading a successful, and busy, life while dealing with Cerebral Palsy. He advocates for the rights of people with disabilities while working a variety of jobs and volunteering. He truly is an incredible young man.
